Q: Although Procar reduces cancer risk in all men by 25%, can some cancers get worse faster?

When I asked my physician about Proscar, he said that Proscar did, in fact, prevent some prostate cancer, but that there were some malignancies that got worse faster under Proscar treatment.(You pays your money and you takes your chances!!) What have the latest studies shown? I was under the impression that later evaluation has shown that this may not be true. Do some tumors get worse faster under a Procar regimen?
