In response to:
A rising PSA after radical prostatectomy is indicative of a recurrence. If imaging studies do not demonstrate metastatic disease, then it is not likely that you have distant spread. The casodex is an anti-androgen and it is for now keeping the recurrence which is most likely local disease, in check.
