Urinary frequency can occur for many reasons. Various combinations of drugs may be effective if the cause of your urinary frequency is BPH. A flare-up of inflammatory bowel disease could also be the cause of the increased frequency.   The size of the prostate does not always correlate with the extent of the symptoms that patients exhibit. Patients with small prostates can have very extensive voiding symptoms. Similarly, some patients with very large prostates may not have significant symptoms. You need to have a complete evaluation by a urologist, which should also include a cystoscopic evaluation.
