At the present time there are no specific recommendations for vitamin therapy for prostate cancer. Just recently, the SELECT study, which was looking at the effects of Selenium, Lycopene and Vitamin E for the prevention of prostate cancer was suspended as early results did not demonstrate any specific benefits. A low fat diet, however, would be a good place to start. Additional recommendations also include the use of soy. There is also some renewed interest in the use of drugs in the 5ARI category for cancer prevention, however there are no definitive studies yet.
