Q: Is there a "diet" for prostate cancer?

What is the best diet for aiding in the cure of prostate cancer?  I know about avoiding red meat and processed foods and increasing omega-3's as in fish.  But is pasta ok?  Also, I have heard that there seems to be a more extreme approach through a macrobiotic approach which might have more success in affecting a positive result of curing the cancer. Have you heard of this?  Can you give some guidance?

Thanks for your question.  The experts in the area have not agreed on the effectiveness of various foods in lowering prostate cancer risk or aiding in recovery.  The research does suggest that there may a few things that help, although the jury is still out.  Please check out these resources for more on a prostate cancer diet:
