i read that vesicare is contraindicated with urinary retention which is caused by enlarged prostate.. but enlarged prostate also causes frequent trips to the toilet.. so, is it ok to take vesicare with a medication for enlarged prostate such as uroxatral?

Combinations of Vesicare and alpha blockers are being used with increasing frequency. The Uroxatrol treats the obstruction of the prostate. Vesicare helps with the frequency of urination. It wont be very long until a combination drug is available.
