Jody, From what I know, it is possible to have prostate cancer if your prostate is enlarged, but just because it is enlarged doesn't mean it's a sign of cancer, and avodart is good to shrink it, but sometimes may not shrink it enough. It would be a good idea to make sure they have checked your PSA. Good luck!
