Blood in semen for over 2 years

My 30 year old husband has had blood in his semen for over two years.  He has seen a urologist and they did several tests, and the said its just hematospermia.  Everything that I've read about this says is only last for a maximum of a few months.  Why has his been going on for over two years?  Should we be really concerned or get a second opionion?  Also, does this affect his fertility?

Hi, I'm not a urologist but I had the same problem before. I am now 34 and living healthy. Doctors did not find anything wrong with my reproductive system but still I was worried. You were asking if your husband will affect his fertility, my answer is no as long as he doesn't have weak erection or unless he doesn't have erection at all. About the blood in the semen, I treated it this very very simple way - "I mixed fresh lettuce juice and cucumber juice together and drink one glass of it first thing in the morning continously everyday" and I didn't eat fatty foods. It happened to me when I was 32 for more than six months until I began drinking it. Just one week of drinking mixed lettuce and cucumber juice and there is zero blood, another good thing is my hair became thicker with less of the expense. There's no harm trying this and it's also good for one's health.
