Thatis a very dramatic response. The treatment that he is receiving will not reverse the metastasis however it can stabilize the disease.  I assume that he is receiving a hormonal blockade, and this type of treatment will only last for a period of time ad then the disease will most likely become hormonally resistant. When that occurs there are a series of new therapies that are available including a prostate cancer vaccine.
