Q: Cystoscopy revealed irratation in bladder, cauterized and tests showed iosinafilic allergy.

Over a 2yr period PSA had shot up to 10 (from 3) . Took Cipro for 3 weeks .PSA back to normal. Healthy active 75yr old wasp. Been on Proscar & Flowmax for yrs.

Now 6 months later I am to go back to get retested. Hopefully all will be normal ...

1) What could have caused the allergic infection ?

2) I went in to see if I was a canidate for GREEN LIGHT , Doctor felt I would be better off getting TURP... What determines which procedure is better for an individual???
