Prostate cancer that has spread to bone is very difficult to treat. Treatments are not curative and only palliative. Morphine is a good option however you should seek consultation with a pain management specialist. Consideration should also be given to imaging studies to better determine the extent of bone scan. Local radiation therapy, kyphoplasty or verterbroplasty may also be an option.
