In response to:
If the drugs do not work than a trial of an injectable agent (Caverject, Edex) may be of benefit.  These drugs are injected directly into the lateral aspect of the penis, and cause vasodilation resulting in a satisfactory erection in many pateints.  A penile prosthesis however, is the most definitive and successful of treamnts.
