Q: i`ve got a new job unloading trucks lifting a lot of weight now I have notice blood in my semen. Could lifting be a lot of the problem

I`m 55 years old, and work with guys 10 to 15 years younger than me, doing the job is no problem I can keep up but I think I might have strained myself the first week because I have not done this kind of work for years.

Blood in the semen is not related to heavy lifting. it is usually self-limited and may be associated with prostate infections or prostatic stones. If it persists for more than several weeks you should see a Urologist
