Q: I have a 13 y/o son who is urination blood clots for several weeks now. Took him to the urologist today and he said it could be constipation.

He is using the restroom and he is peeing blood clots, and lots of them. There is lots of blood in the toliet, and this urologist didn't seem concerned because there is no trace of infection. Sonogram of kidneys came back ok. He has had at least one UTI a month since Nov '10, with traces of blood in each one. He is also having lower abdominal pain.
