People That Have Recovered From Prostate Cancer

It has been one year since my surgery.......

I was diagnosed last August with Prostrate Cancer, it went from  5.32 when I had my Robotic Surgery in Dec, it was a 7. when it was removed. UTI after prostate surgery

I had a radical lap prostatectomy in January complicated by a leak in the bladder.  Ever since, I have had a UTI, mostly with E coli.  Why do I have this and is this unusual?

8 years post radiation I bleed after ejaculation, I am a 73 year old male

My current PSA is .01 eight years after seed implant and IMRT. Avodart after radiation treatment?

I hve been taking Avodart for 7 months, including during IMRT, which ended in mid June.  My new urologist says I am wasting money on Avodart, because after radiation, all the prostate cells are dead anyway, and Avodart won't affect anything. Is the Avodart really doing nothing for me?
