Men who receive hormone therapy for prostate cancer may be at greater risk for heart disease, but some types of therapy are safer than others, researchers say. A study of 30,642 Swedish men found men had a greater risk of heart attacks, arrhythmia, and heart disease. But researchers found that men who received anti-androgen therapy had significantly fewer problems, while patients on gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist therapy had the highest risks.
