Stages Of Prostate Cancer

New research reports that hormone-blocking drugs do not improve
survival for older men with early-stage prostate cancer. The study,
which included 19,271 Medicare patients, did not find any greater
chance of survival between men who received hormone-blocking
medications and those who took a "watchful waiting" approach.
Experts say patients and doctors should be aware that drug therapy
treatment is not useful for all prostate cancer patients.
