Clinical trial: Zometa, osteoporosis, and prostate cancer treatment

This is a study to see how well the drug Zometa works compared to calcium and vitamin D alone in preventing osteoporosis and bone fractures in men with locally advanced nonmetastatic prostate cancer undergoing radiation therapy and hormone therapy. This national study is currently recruiting patients.
