Cannabis chemicals may fight prostate cancer

Chemicals in cannabis have been found to halt the growth of prostate cancer cells in the laboratory, a new study has found. Researchers found that some prostate cancer cells responded to the chemicals, but they point out that this does not mean men should begin smoking the drug. Instead, they say their research may open the path to new types of medication that utilize some of the plant's chemicals.  Read full story >
