A common sexually transmitted disease called trichomoniasis may increase the risk of advanced prostate cancer. The STD is the most common non-viral sexually transmitted infection, and researchers say three quarters of the men who have it don't even know. In a study of 673 men, researchers found that those with the infection were more than twice as likely to develop prostate cancer that was advanced, and nearly three times as likely to develop an aggressive, lethal case.
