Hormone therapy may help some with prostate cancer

A small course of hormone-blocking treatment may help some men who get radiation treatment for cancer. A 10-year study found that men with intermediate cancer who received hormone and radiation treatment were five percent more likely to survive than men who had radiation alone. But researchers say the difference was not significant, and they point out that research on hormone therapy is a continually-evolving field.  Read full story >
