Scientists Find Key to Hormone-Resistant Prostate Tumors

Hormone therapy can cause secondary, hormone-resistant tumors, and now scientists say they know why. A new study in mice has uncovered the mechanism that makes secondary tumors drug resistant. Experts say this discovery could lead to new medications that delay secondary tumors by two or three years.
