Red Wine, Green Tea Slow Prostate Cancer Growth

Scientists have known for some time that polyphenols in red wine and green tea help inhibit prostate cancer growth, and a new study shows why. Researchers say the antioxidants appear to disrupt a pathway that cancer cells need in order to grow. The study's researchers say that red wine and green tea taken in moderation may be among the most potent health foods known to man.
