trying to be normal
Catherine
Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 08:11 AMHi Debbie,
I just found this web-site today when browsing through to find out how long I have to put up with feeling sick all day every day since I started taking sulphasalazine. I've already gone past the 'three months' they say it takes to get used to it. I'm beginning to think the small amount of benefit I get from it is just not worth the queasy stomach. I think we all need to grouse about how we feel sometimes. Being in constant pain and having restricted movement is just not fair!!!! My 28 year marriage broke up two years ago and at 51 yrs of age I'm on my own. Its not as bad as you might think. The holding on and hoping for it to improve was more painful than the actual day to day of getting on with living.

NEED INSPIRATION
ANNIE
Tuesday, January 01, 2008 at 11:43 AMHi Debbie, first off get rid of that man. Did you know stress can cause ra to flare.Maybe you need to try another doctor, or ask your doc to change your meds. Its easier said than done, but try to get as much rest as possible. Since that dead beat wont help you,no since it keeping it around. You need someone who really cares about your ra and you. someone who is willing to walk slow, someone willing to fix a meal for you. Someone to run you down. So get rid of the stress and please pray. Than always help.
Also try squeezing a ball, flex your hands and feet. stretch your arms. maybe that little exercise will help.
Wishing you many pain free days
Annie
