Hi, new here. I am 40 and have had Fibromyalgia for 10 yrs. The last 3 yrs have already been life changing for me and now this. I have had two brainstem surgeries to remove a cavernous malformation I've had since birth. Just in the past week, I have been in such pain in my hands, feets, ankles, hips. The last two nights I have been woken up in the night because of the pain in my hands has been so bad that at 40, I was crying. I am going to a new Rheumo next week and I'm sure she'll run the blood tests again for the third time. I just don't know what to think right now. Have been through enough for one lifetime, so I thought. Thx for reading.

Wow, it certainly sounds like you've had more than your share of medical events. And yes, I know what you mean about the pain. It can bring you to your knees (metaphorically, because actually being on your knees hurts too much).
You may want to check out our section about the basics of RA, the area for the newly diagnosed and our chronic pain site has a section about fibromyalgia. Information can help, but it's not everything. One of the keys is to find a community of people who know what you're going through. I'm glad you found this website.
