Well funny story!Blessing #1, I checked my bank account this morning as i was almost broke and my son needed money for truck repairs. I of course being mom, was gonna rob from peter to get him the $100 he needed. I all but fell outta my chair. I had a pretty good size deposit from SSDI.... Well both my husband and daughter as you know are disabled. So, I assumed it was for one of them. But, it bugged the far outta me. So I called up the local SS office and asked what was it for.... Well, low and behold! It was MY MONEY! My backpay for 5 months of disability. I was approved and from start to finish it wasn't even 6 months. I did have to do the letter of reconsideration.. I got my money before I got the letter tellin me I was deemed disabled... Still not believing him, I called my congressmans office and spoke to the lady over disability, which she knows my voice if that tells you anything, lol! Any ways, she called Baltimore and emailed me my approval letter. All 4 pages tellin me about my backpay and my monthly benefit. But the attorney fee hadn't been taken out. Thats $6000 or 25%. I called my attorney and emailed her the letter. She called me back and said well 25% is $1200.00, I didn't get much and my daughter gettin married I thought well there that goes!!! Blessing #2, the attorney only charged me $750.00. How bout them apples????? What a wonderful day! Just thought I'd share... Never give up!

Congratulations, Angie! So, so happy for you. BTW, I just finished my disability application online. It says I need to take my W2 to the social security office. Guess I will call them Monday a.m. and see if I have to make an appointment or something. Took me almost two hours to fill out that application!
Peace!
