Hi all, I have not posted in a long time. I have been tied up. I am a RA Patient and I have been diagnosed for two years now. I have just started Humira. I am waiting to see how our insurance is going to handle it because if its $1400.00 a month like the pharmacist told me we will be doing something else. Anyone else out there having these high cost issues with the insurance. Feel free to just say hi.

Hi Jeff,
All the Biologic meds are really expensive! I know that Humira has a "co-pay" assistance program. My cousin is on Humira for Crohn's Disease. He pays $5 out-of-pocket for his Humira. You need to contact the maker of Humira (or ask your Rhuematologist for information). These programs are different for each biologic, but they help defray your out-of-pocket cost.
