Oh yes ... Scared ... with a swollen leg/dog scratch wound seeing my newest doctor .. a wonderful Plastic Surgeon.. who just told me that I would be seeing him for awhile and skin grafts!!!

Your story should remind us all that while on RA meds (immune suppressants) we need to be hypervigilant with regards to germs. I have RA but I also have Psoriatic Arthritis and I often have open wounds on my hands...and it scares the crap out of me! Well it does now that I've read your story LOL!

Holy crap, indeed! I'm on the edge of my seat reading the story. I'm glad you managed to turn it around to be on a sort of vacation, though. And I really would do want to thank you for reminding to take my suppressed immune system seriously.
