    Hi Becky,

I guess I am visual. I found watching Video's about RA on You Tube very helpful for me. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djZfEi-ztVQ

    Becky,

I have another form of arthritis: psoriatic arthritis. Regardless, it is arthritis.  There are good days and bad, so hang in there!  I was mid 40's when it hit with a vengence, and I am now 52 and recently retired from 30 years of teaching because I could not get up so early and navigate the school and classroom anymore.  The thing I have found that helps the most is supportive friends who understand when I say I don't feel up to doing something but might tomorrow and other things that go with the condition I have.  Keep a smile and try to be positive.  I know it is difficult, but there are people out there who suffer from worse things than arthritis; I just try to remember this when I get on my "pity potty."

    Have a wonderful day!
