Keep up the good work!

Weight loss and RA
Feels like the TinMan
Monday, July 27, 2009 at 04:39 PMhi Sara,
As a WW member for 2 1/2 years, I know all about it. I've lost 57 lbs on WW. I'd like to lose another 50 more, but since my RA DX and Prednisone, I haven't had much luck in losing more. I've dropped 4 sizes already (from a tight 24 to a comfortable 18). I keep thinking the Prednisone is making my weight loss stop, but I'm not giving up. I still go to weekly meetings, I still listen to everyone else's joys and successes (although sometimes I get discouraged knowing I'm STILL too far away from that 6th ribbon, the last one i got was January 08!!)...but, on the flip side to that, if I had given up, I would have gained my weight back. Eventually, you just live and breathe WW... I just got back from vacation and gained about 9 lbs!! eek! But, I don't feel guilty, I just feel miserable because I can feel the difference, and I DON'T LIKE IT! I went right back on program, and enjoy the healthy eating again... I never thought I'd say I was sick of bad foods... but I am.. so good luck to you on WW. it is a good program and it works!! ~Desiree

Hey Sara, fantastic news! I'm so proud of you! You must feel so much more in control. Sounds like you have a lot of discipline (I have less than zero). Maybe I'll try this aproach in a little while (in a bad flare right now). Do you get tired managing all of this?
Anyway, great job, enjoy it!
xo,
Susan
