FEVER BLISTERS ON MY "EYEBALL"

By Country Girl Monday, March 28, 2011

I've had fever blisters on my "eyeball" numerous times since 1979 (they're called cornea ulcers), I always get them on the same eye (my right one).  However, a few weeks ago I got them for the first time since being diagnosed with RA (diagnosed in 2008).  I had 22 blisters in my right eye. Here I am today, 7 weeks later, and I'm still taking oral medications and using a steroid drop twice a day.  They've never been this bad before and I'm wondering if it has something to do with me taking an immune suppresant (Enbrel).

Have any of you ever had this problem (or a similar eye problem)?
