Hi Gail. My name is Marie. I've had RA for over 30 years. I take nothing because of no medical insurance.

Hi Marie,

I also have no medical insurance. I have found that the insurance is more expensive than buying medication itself and paying a yearly doctor visit to. How do you get buy with no meds.  There are several programs in which the drug companies will supply your meds for free. Gail

I don't really get by without meds. It's lots of prayer and alot of crying due to pain. That's all I can do. I take tylenol but that doesn't help. I know about the drug companys but you still need a prescription and I can't afford the doctor's visit. I would also have to drive 75 miles or so to find a Rheumatologist. With the price of gas the way it is-that is one expensive trip. I'm glad to hear that you have found ways of getting your meds.
