I am alwasy interested in alternatives treatments. I do follow an anti-inflammatory diet for the most part. I can't say that it has decreased my pain leve a lot, but I do feel it is a healthy diet, so I continue on.
Sometimes I stray and eat vanilla ice cream w/choc chips in it.
I think that is an American thing we just have to do once in a while!
As with medication, alternative methods of pain and inflammation control most likely affect individuals in individual ways. What works for one, may not work for another.
I definitely know one thing. Without my pain meds I could not function at home, let alone work. I am thankful pain meds are available That being said, I think we all should be willing to adjust our diets and do what we can to strengthen our bodies and help them heal.
