Father's Day and the Men Who Make Us Feel Beautiful Even with Rheumatoid Arthritis

By Cathy, Health Guide Monday, June 18, 2012
This weekend we celebrated another Father’s Day – a day once a year that we recognize the hard work our fathers, husbands, and sons do as men.  Although I have never been a big celebratory person on Father’s Day, I do like to take time and remind myself of how lucky I am to hav...

My dad is amazing and cares for me so much thru all my health challenges.  He has always been my protector.  I long and ache (much like my RA) to have a husband who sees beyond my RA and loves me.  You are so blessed to have such a loving husband.

Rose, I am glad your dad is there for you and sincerely hope that your husband gets to a good point someday too.  Take good care of yourself and keep your dad's love deep in your heart.

Thanks, Cathy!  Actually, I'm single :-)  I long to marry, though I want a man who understands my RA, yet doesn't define me by it.

Rose, I am sorry.  I misread your comment.  Even better then. You have time to pick out the perfect guy.  Good luck.

Lana, my son is going to make someone a great husband someday - if I ever let him go!!!  :)  Ever since he was a baby I have asked him, "How did I get so lucky to have you?"  I still feel that way.  He is the one person in my life that can bring calm no matter what the situation.

what a beautiful tribute, Cathy. It made me cry and remember all the best parts of my dad (who died in 2001). He was willing to carry me and my sister to the ends of the earth and give us the shirt off his back and he did it all was a wicked sense of humor. I miss the way he could always make me laugh.

Have you tried Anatabloc for your RA?  Other people (such as this:  https://www.facebook.com/Anatabloc/posts/232018593544624) are reporting success with it after a few months of use.  The sole active ingredient is anatabine (in the form of synthetic anatabine citrate), a naturally occurring compound found in the nightshade family of foods (peppers, tomatoes, tobacco, etc.).  Johns Hopkins, the Roskamp Institute and others are conducting extensive trials for inflamation-based diseases, and some preliminary results are due to be published this Fall.

Anatabloc is not a drug, so it is available now online at Anatabloc.com, and at most GNC stores.  (No, I do not have any connection to the company that makes Anatabloc.)

Since I have seen it help me with minor inflamation problems in my knees and fingers, I thought I would pass the word around.
