This is the brand name of the infusion that your wife has been having.  I had them as well but they didn't work for me.  I am currently waiting to see which drug my doctor will try next.  I'm very happy to hear that it worked for your wife.  I sure was hoping that I would get that same result.  I had no problems with the infusions themselves.  No reaction of any kind really.  Just no good results.

I am curious to know how your wife is doing. I had the two infusions about 6 months ago.  It took a few weeks to see an improvement.  The doctor told me that I may never need another infusion and I may possibly need another infusion in a few months.  I am still on oral medications and occasionally may have a flare up.  However there is definetly an improvement.

Hi.  I'm curious to know how you are doing and if you think you will have another Rituxan treatment.  Did you have any side affects after taking the first two infusions?  Did you get ill or contract a serious infection?  I'm in the process of setting up my first infusion but really, I don't know if I'm going to go through with it or not.  So, how are you feeling now; did it get better for you?

Hi,

I was very afraid of starting Rituxin.  So scared that I called genetech and spoke with someone.  I am very happy that I am on rituxin.  My first dose I did get a rash other than that nothing else.

I just had another infusion in May.

FYI - it takes a couple of weeks for it to work. I didn't know that and was dissapointed.  Prior to rituxin I had times that i couldn't get out of bed and it was very difficult to do things.  I am not having any of these problems now but continue have mild flare ups.

let me know how you make out

Thank you for your response.  Can you tell me what Genetech told you?  Also, had you already taken Remicade prior to Rituxan?  Sorry if I'm forcing you to repeat yourself but I don't think you mentioned what other drugs you had been on prior to this.  Let me know if you don't mind.  Thanks again.
