Check out the website of the American College of Rheumatologists to see a list of rheumatologists in your area. You can also try Arthritis Introspective - it's a grassroots organization that can help you organize support groups in your area and if there is one in Jacksonville, one of the members may know of a good rheumatologist.

She's young, smart & has pretty good communication & listening skills.

(904) 396-8656

There are 2-3 other Rheumys in her office I've not met.

The MA's are helpful & friendly too.

FYI-I took in pics of flared joints-visible signs of disease rarely manifest on appt day-Dr Lee was glad to have them.

Hope this helps!

I left Dr Olazar at Arthritic Disease Clinic, despite her experience and convenience, as she made several errors in my medical record and didn't take kindly to my attempt to have them corrected. Just too many patients to keep straight, in my opinion.

Also, Dr Olazar's diagnostics/treatment was slightly old school. Her staff is wonderful though...

I use Mirna Barakat off of Oak Street. I was diagnosed in 2006, she has been very good to me even though, I am a tough case....she has never given up on me!
