    It is sometimes hard for people to understand anything unless it is happening to them personally. That is very normal. I found that sharing other peoples experiences with RA helps. In other words, read to him some entrees from other RA patients that have similar symptoms as yourself. This may help them realize that it is not just in your mind, that it is the reality of what people with RA live with. Good luck and be patient with him :)
