how long can i work on my job with this pain?

By Carolyn Saturday, December 29, 2007

I missed my appointment on 12-21-07, because i was sick, and the office would not give me another visit, because i was new? Do you think this was fair?

Hi Carolyn, you were not treated fairly. That doctor should be reported. Please find another doctor. Check with your local

Arthritis Foundation, thats how I found my doctor. And she is a blessing. As far as your job, you are the only one to judge that. I have had ra since 1991 and I am still working. Its painful but I need the insurance so you do what you have to. My doctor wants me to stop working but disablility was not the answer, thats to 2/3 years here in Miss. How will I pay mortgage and buy my meds. I'm single with grown kids with their own families, so I continue to work. If I am not feeling good, I just dont go. So its a choice you have to make about how long you can work and it depends on the type of work. Iam customer service so I sit and talk on the phone all day. not to stressing.Hope you fine a decent doctor that understands your pain as we do.
