Hi I have had RA for about 2 years now and in May I discovered something called the bean.  My wrists hurt so I can't put any pressure on them especially my body weight the same about my ankles.  The bean is shaped like half a medcine ball but much bigger so it supports your head neck and back and you rock on it so it is low impact. It comes with a video to get you started.  Any way I do pelvic lifts, crunches, low ab crunches and LOVE IT!  I lost 13lbs and have a 4 pack

though I'm going for 6 pack abs. A co. called green house sells it and I got it at Khols Dept store. I find for me it helps with my depression about having RA to feel and look good.  Exercise is so important to me I used to power walk 3 miles a day. I can't go that far anymore or that fast but any exercise is better than none.  Good luck out there in RA land.
