This Is How Crazy I Am

By robin Sunday, February 08, 2009

Hi. I thought that today I would tell you guys how crazy I am.

I think that I can stop my arthritis through natural foods and herbs…

I take shots of wheat grass juice at the smoothie shop by my grocery store. I use guacamole as salad dressing. I juice a lot of vegetables and fruits. Fennel, romaine, spinach, onions, cabbage, garlic, granny smith apples, ginger, lemons, and beets.  I brush my skin with a skin brush before every shower to keep my pores open and excreting toxins. I drink dandelion tea…

One time I juiced dandelion leaves and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted.  It was like drinking liquid grass clippings. I add flax seeds to everything. When I’m crying in pain from arthritis, I don’t take Advil because it rips up your intestinal lining. Instead, I take digestive enzymes and sing...

I stretch and exercise every day. Which I don’t think is that crazy, yet some people still refuse to do it. I don’t drink coffee. I use vegetable glycerin to sweeten my yogurt and add sunflower seeds to it because I eat the plain kind. No sugar added. Low fat. But, I would eat the whole fat yogurt if they sold it at the store...

I wish you luck. I too, do all the natural stuff and I think it helps me keep my weight in check and stay healthier than I would be, but it hasn't stopped or stalled the RA, so I'm giving myself shots of Embrel and Methotrexate, swearing a lot, praying a lot, and taking 3-4 days off of work each month.

Hi Debrah!

haha, I also swear and pray a lot over this stupid disease. I don't know how you continue to do the shots. I used to, but it just got to be too hard emotionally to keep stabbing myself. I am really really happy when I find other people trying natural remedies. I wonder if you tried a full body detoxification before beginning the natural stuff? Everything I've read points to that as a starting point for getting your body to heal. If you want to read more about it, these two websites have pretty good info.
