Just a happy thought...

By robin Saturday, March 21, 2009

I heard something the other day that made me smile.

Arthritis is a dis-ease. We are dis-eased, not "dizzeazed". I am simply not at ease. I am dis-eased.

Let's start saying "dis-ease" like it is meant to be said, instead of that awful word, "dizeaze"

I LOVE the positive attitude you present.

One of the many things I've learned about RA and at least me personally over two decades is that it has an emotional component. I find flare ups happen with stressful periods. Mine started at the end of a long marriage, handling financial woes associated with it and three teenage boys, surgery and no community to support me.

So, find ways for pleasure, relieve stress and have a great support group handy. Being positive minded is core! Good for you.
