Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:18 AMHi Seth,
Your introduction had be laughing throughout. Pain's not a funny topic, but you obviously have a great sense of humor and positive outlook on life. I do remember those dial-up/busy-tone days. I also remember the days before having 2 lines on one phone with voice messaging where folks who called simply got a busy signal too. I often wondered how many phone calls and messages I missed during those years. I look forward to reading more. So glad you've joined us.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 01:30 PMwelcome to the family, Seth! I've thought of us developing a secret handshake, but figure that might be impractical, what with aching joints, etc. (and that's about as dorky a welcome as I can imagine). Glad to have you writing here and I look forward to checking out Creaking Joints in more detail - it looks like a wonderful site.

Hello Seth!

Thursday, June 04, 2009 at 10:27 AMor should I say, Mr. Creaky Joints! I love that ...
Possible tip for those bad pickle-jar days - on a GOOD day, transfer the pickles to some kind of container (tupperware or something that you can open), so it will be available on the bad days!
I'm looking forward to checking out Creaky Joints! (I know I've got'em...)

I look forward to be reading your posts-

boy, i bet your parents are proud of you! i'd like to hear more about your spondylosis. i have it in my hips. i can't lean forward for more than a few seconds, like leaning over a sink to wash my hands. have you learned any really good stretching exercises for it? have you ever tried a sacroiliac support? that's my next mission is to try a support. i'm assuming you have the same thing i have and i may be wrong. there's not much on RA central about spondylosis or spondylitis. i've tested negative for all the RA tests and the genetic testing. i have a + family history for RA and all the symptoms so i'm on humira and MTX along with celebrex, doxycycline, ultram, hydrocodone, xanax, ambien, neurontin and a few others. i will check out the other website i read about on your profile (or whatever it was i was reading)! tell your mom and dad they raised a very good looking son. i have a 14 yr old son and i just can't imagine the heartache your mother had with you being diagnosed with RA, that's my biggest fear. hope to hear from you soon!
