For those living with JRA, could you please share your story. How long have you had JRA, at what age? How did it impact you in school, sports, social activities, at home?
What did you do when you were young to deal with JRA? What made you feel better?
Thank you in advance for your story...

Hi I am an adult with RA now, but I had JRA as a child, actually toddler(18 months). It was not easy to live with the disease as a child but you just have to keep oushing yourself. I went into remission when I was around 12-13 and had some residual pain from all of the damage in my knee but really I have lived as a pain free adult up until about a year ago. Todeal with the pain I had physical therapy in a hot whirlpool, heating pads, and ibuprofen. It did not effect my social life that much except for if I didn't feel good and didn't want to go out. I hope you go into remission soon. My biggest help was when I found out about Jesus at 18 and started leaning on Him for strength. I wish you the best because I know that it can be a very hard thing to live with.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your story. I am happy for you that you have found a way to deal with the pain, and discomfort that RA can cause.
I was doing some research on JRA and wondering how children deal with this disease.
Thanks again for sharing, and best of wishes to you. I hope my ra goes into remission, that would be wonderful!!!!
Take Care,
