I have had RA symptoms since college, but was just diagnosed, offically when I was 41.  I tried Plaquenil first, which lasted for 1 month due to the fact that I had constant nausea and broke out into a rash all over!  I just started Methotrexate 2.5 months age.  So far so good, but it's not working near as well as the Plaquenil (even with the nausea and rash).  I go so see my Rheumy this Wednesday and I'm guessing we'll be increasing the Meth.  I've been having a lot of problems with depression and comforting myself because of the pain, with "comfort food"!!!  I know that I'm doing this, but can't seem to pull mysef out of this habit/cycle.  I seem to get this I don't care attidude when I'm really hurting, and/or for about 1.5 days after taking my Meth., since it really seems to knock me on my big ole' back side!  Does anyone have any tips???  Any comments on what has worked for them on the weight loss or to motivate them to get on the "Fat Wagon"???  I'm willing to try just about anything!  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!Embarassed
