Hey everyone, Its been a couple of months since I've checked in, sorry. I hope everyone is doing well. I have been super busy with some business with my mom, she was diagnosed with a super bad kind of leukemia and has been given very little time left with us, according to her doc its very aggresive and they won't treat her. He said the first treatment would kill her. That was the beginning of May, she's doing fairly well. We have hospice coming in a couple times a week and helping out. Shes very lucid, just very tired and weak. Shes lived with my family for 8 years now due to other illnesses. I have been taking care of her needs daily so there's not been much time for blogging. I've been suprisingly well, just the usual daily aches and pains. My hand is super awesome now. I went to see my surgeon last week for my last appt with him and he was amazed at how fast I was healing, you can hardly see the scar now. It has been working very well and pain free. Im back to weaving baskets and sewing and alot more cleaning and stuff for my mom. Im really glad that I got it fixed when I did, It has allowed me to help my mom alot more than I could have before. Take care everyone, I'll try to check in more often, Happy Independence Day

I was just thinking about you last week and wondering if you were okay. The last time I "talked" to you, you were having a lot of trouble with your hand since the surgery. So happy that has healed and is working out well.
Sorry to hear about your mom, Nan. It is a blessing that you did have the hand surgery done so that you can help you mom more during her last few months. I have always heard that Hospice is awesome. I'm sure you mom feels better being at home than she would in some care facility.
Please let us know how you are doing when you have time.
Blessings,
V
