About Me

Diagnosed in early 80's with early onset RA, have had several concoctions of anti inflammatories with differing effects, some didn't control the symptoms , some I tolerated well but they didn't control the arthrtis well enough, others I was allergic to.  Methotrexate caused an allergic reaction around my neck and the itch was so bad I went to bed with an ice block against my neck to get some relief.

I am now being treated with Leflunomide 20mgs daily and Lodine SR 600mgs daily and  these are keeping my arthrtis fairly well controlled although I still get flare ups.
