I am looking for a RA support group in the DFW area.  Is anyone aware of such a group?

Check out the website for Arthritis Introspective - it's a grassroots organization that helps people start RA-related support groups, as well as listing groups that already exist.

I am a clinical nutritionist and naturopathic doctor in the dallas areas and I specialize in RA and would like to form a support group. Is anyone interrested?

Hi!  I am also looking for a support group in the Ft. Worth area.  Have you had any luck?  I am in my 50's and also have RA, AS, SS and SLE.  I should see if I can make a word out of all those letters!

Thank you Lene. Yes there is a Support System in Texas. Check out www.arthritisintrospective.org. I do not believe there is a support system started in florida yet, but you can locate the closest one to you or begin one yourselfSmile

Sincerely, Samantha

The Arthritis Foundation Auxiliary Group in Dallas is forming a patient to patient support group/buddy system called Joint Parnters and it should be up and running by the end of May 2010.  Please call the Arthritis Foundation or see the Auxiliary Group website at: http://afaxdfw.org/ for more information about Joint Partners or Auxiliary Group Events.

NOTE: This website is currently a work in progress but it should be ready by June 2010.  If you would like to meet  LOTS of people with RA start a team and join the Dallas Arthritis Walk on May 15th www.dallasarthritiswalk.org
