About Me

G'Day, I am a happy, healthy* homemaker, who's trying desperately to get back into the workforce. My accounting degree isn't worth much since I'm very rusty and things have changed in the last 10 years. I was just yesterday told that I have RA. My RA Factor test came back at 72. The normal range is 0-20. I just pray that this doesn't progress to the point of now longer being able to hike, ski and other sports I enjoy. That and the things I do at the gym, especially kick-boxing. My most favorite I will NOT stop, which is SCUBA diving! I am (until Valentine's Day) 44 years young, but everyone guesses me to be between 27 to 38. I've been genetically blessed that way, but cursed with the BRCA1 gene too. That's what gave me cancer and forced my hand at having to get a double mast and a complete hysterectomy. On top of that many doctors have told me I have MS, but the plaques (sp?) and/or bands (spinal fluid) have yet to show up. (Took Terri Garr 26 years for hers to show up). Anyway, My wonderful husband, David, and I are fixing up a big new (to us)house we just purchased. It was a foreclosure contract home, so it needed and still needs a LOT of work. Luckily, it's mostly asthetic, but Dave can fix anything and has. I'm am enjoying it so much! The choosing colours, painting, and patching numerous holes, plus much, much more has brought us even closer than before. We are of very like mind and agreeing has been very easy. It's also a lot of fun...singing old "Little Rascals" songs and acting silly. He's also very supportive. He knew, when we got married, I had MS. He's now being very strong for me with this new probable diagnosis, but neither one of us knows what to expect. At least with the MS, I know when I'm having an exasperation. So this is a whole new ride. I feel healthy and consider myself healthy(*) therefore, I am healthy, just reliant on some meds. I'm also taking Genesis and Ultra Vitality. These are both giving me the energy and nutients my body craves. The Genesis is a Super-Anti-Oxident to rid me of free radicals and the Ultra Vitality gives me 90+ nutrients with 160% higher absorbtion rate. These two, "The Dynamic Duo" have made my life a LOT better. I began by selling them, but now they're saving me. Look at the website and click on the brochures. It's www.symmetrydirect.com/LORSMITH. Most importantly, I am a Christian and have total and complete faith in our Savior. The Holy Spirit dwells within me and I have hope, not fear. Whatever is in store for me, I can handle, because He is by my side. That's about it. Thanks for reading, if you've made it this far ;-) You may print it for insomnia, I do not mind.
