forteo for osteoporosis due to severe RA

My rheumatologist is considering putting me on Forteo for osteoporosis. Id like to know if anyone out there ison Forteo and how its working for them and side affects if any?

surgery for RA

I have had severe RA for 30 years. I am very disabled from it and in a wheelchair. I am now having very severe hip pain and Iam seeing and orthopedic surgeon inBoston. Id like to know if you feel they can do a hip replacement if I am unable to walk because of Ra in my knees and also knee contractures.
