Momentum seems to be building in the Rheumatoid Arthritis community. Look at the rise in blogs on RA and the recent shareposts here: from Sara's buckle campaign to Holly's networking with the AF...
Will it make a difference? We must not take no for an answer. We must continue to educate our loved ones and even our doctors so that the picture of Rheumatoid Arthritis can become continually clearer. And then a cure is one step closer.
We are not whining. RA does disable us and shorten our lives drastically. We need to stop apologizing for needing help.
Yes it is hard, but those who come after us will be truly grateful.
Thanks for reading first sharepost. For more on this, you can read my article on my blog about the our invisible world of RA.

Hi Kelly,
I really think it can! There are so many more people out there like you and me who are really starting to be vocal, and what's more, to start taking action. I believe that we really can start to turn this ship around. It will just take determination (which we've all got) and persistence.
So glad to find your blog!
Sara
Yes, we are experts at getting back up when we fall. And we know what it means to push through battle fatigue. Ah! We have been trained for this fight and we will not go away quietly.
Thanks, Kelly
